The “Fair Stone” initiative, launched by Win=Win takes care about social and ecological minimum standards at the manufacturing of products of natural stone in China. To the advisory board belong Mr. Walter Riester (retired Secretary of Labour, Member of the German Bundestag), Prof. Dr. Maximilian Gege (Chairman of B.A.U.M. - Bundesdeutscher Arbeitskreis für Umweltbewusstes Management e.V. = German Environmental Management Association), Prof. Dr. Michael von Hauff (International Social Expert, University Kaiserslautern), Dipl.-Ing. Klaus Mai (architect) and Dr. Manfred Schuster (Mayor of the city Stuttgart).

Both in China and India, already more than 30 local employers commited themselves in written form not to allow exploitative child labour and forced labour in their premises and to further improve health and securtity at the workplace. Moreover, the labour law according to the ILO (International Labour Organization) regulations shall be improved considerably. First companies already make efforts regarding dust and noise protection and for more safety at the workplace. Keller Lufttechnik donated a high-quality dust extraction system to a company in Xiamen (China).

A small group of “Fair Stone” participants amongst others Liam Hian, Assistant General Manager of “SFS Stone” in Xiamen, visited Keller Lufttechnik in Kirchheim-Jesingen. Horst Keller, General Manager guided the group through his company and explained why Keller participates in the project “Fair Stone”. “We cannot improve the world considerably. But however, we do not want to see how everything remains unaffected and thus commence with small steps. The pilot project in Xiamen is a very good start.”
